Getting ready....

Danielle came into her apartment wondering what she could wear tonight with her date with Kevin Blacknight. Also knowing that he is her boyfriend now, the first boyfriend. She didn't know how to tell her brother Ben who was still resting from their father stabbing at him. Although with her healing, it helps him more.

She finally found what to wear.

Ben leaned against the doorframe with one hand held loosely over his wound. He chuckled when he saw Danielle. "I haven't seen you this happy in ages Dani, who's the lucky guy?"

"Ben! Don't scare like that, ok? You know you are to be resting..." Danielle said as she heard Ben. "I haven't been this happy in ages?" She asked him.

Ben held his hands up in a surrendering motion. "Sorry. Sorry. I know." He grinned. "Oh please, you practically skipped around the house today. Don't think I didn't notice."

"I did, didn't I?" Danielle said to herself while Ben heard. Danielle went to sit down in a near by chair, "I don't know if I should go..." she said.

Ben smiled softly, it was nice to see his sister in a good moon. He frowned when she sugessted she didn't want to go. "Now why is that? If he makes you happy, then go."

"I just don't know if I am ready that is all." Danielle said rolled her eyes with a smiled on her face. "Who do you think I am going on a date with tonight?" She asked him.

"Just go out. Don't worry about anything tonight." Ben grinned. "Well is it that Blacknight kid?"

"Not to worry about anything?" Danielle asked as she raised her eyebrows. "Do you really have to call him Blacknight kid?" She rowed her eyes.

"Yeah you let me do the worrying. He better get you home before eleven." Ben said, almost threateningly. "Yes I'm calling him Blacknight kid."

"And if he doesn't get me home before elven into midnight?" Danielle asked him as she smiled.

"I'll have to kill him." Ben laughed playfully.

"No you won't and he can't die." Danielle said smiling.

"Immortal or not. I'd find a way." Ben grinned.

"You still not killing him." Danielle said.

"I'm kidding Dani. You gotta quit taking everything so seriously." Ben chuckled. A sharp pain shot through his side and he grimaced. "Just get out of here and have some fun."

"Living here is seriously." Danielle said as she smiled. "One last thing before I go." She said.

Ben sat down on a chair. "And what would that be?"

Danielle puts her healing hand on his side as it grows a bit. "That and this" She kissed him on the cheek, "Thank you brother." she said, "Call my cell if anything goes wrong, I be happy to cut my date short for you."
